Ascend Cloud

Custom SSO Configuration is only available for dedicated Ascend Environments. Ascend Cloud only supports public SSO options.

Ascend can integrate with OneLogin for SSO authentication purposes. In order to configure the OneLogin SSO, please go through the following steps:

  1. Create an OpenID Connect Application (ODIC) in OneLogin. Please see OneLogin documentation for an example.
  2. Encrypt the Client ID and Client Secret through Keybase here, and then send the encrypted payload to your Ascend support engineer.
  3. Provision the openID application in the OneLogin admin page.
  4. Grant user access to this new openID application via individual user permissioning or group based permissioning.

After this is set up, your users will be able to authenticate into Ascend through OneLogin SSO.
